25 May (Sat): FREE Ubin Quarry kayaking with Republic Polytechnic

Registration [NOW CLOSED] The Ubin granite quarry on Pulau Ubin are closed to public. However on Pesta Ubin, Republic Polytechnic (RP) student – volunteers from the Diploma in Outdoor and Adventure Learning (DOAL) are organizing a 1 hour kayaking experience for you to get up close and personal at the quarry.

RP is collaborating with People’s Association Water Venture (PAWV) where they will be organizing a new activity, Stand Up Paddling (S.U.P), for you to participate this year!

To minimize impact on the environment and create this unique experience for everyone, we are limiting the number to 200 participants only. Sign up now!

Important information

To ensure safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, staff have the right to turn away any participant who is not properly attired or with any heart condition.

Age Limit
  • Children must be a minimum age of 10 years old and must fit comfortably into our buoyancy vests for children.
  • 13 years old and below must be accompanied by parents.
  • Activity Acknowledgement Form is required if: You have any existing medical condition 18 years old (must complete the endorsed by their parents/guardians).

Attire
  • Minimum attire: T-shirt, decent-length shorts.
  • Minimum acceptable footwear are sports sandals (No slippers, crocs, barefoot).
  • Please bring along sun protection and change of clothes.

Things to Note
  • Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your confirmed time slot for activity and safety briefing.
  • Please do not bring excessive valuables. You are responsible for your personal belongings.

    If you are lost, do ask passers-by or Ubin villagers and van drivers for directions. People are friendly and approachable on Ubin.

      We only help advertise the activity and do not organise it. So sorry we can't be more helpful.
