As one of the most interesting mangrove rivers in Singapore, Sungei Jelutong is a gem in the heart of rustic Pulau Ubin. Come, join the Nature Society (Singapore) for a leisurely 1-hour guided paddle where our volunteer nature guides will share interesting facts on the flora and fauna along the river, the importance of our coastal forests, and what we can do to conserve them.
Date: 15 June 2019 (Sat)
Time: 8.00am
Duration: Each scheduled session is approximately 1.5 hours including safety briefing.
Meeting point: Next to Jelutong bridge (map).
Cost: $20 per person. Net proceeds will be donated to Nature Society (Singapore)’s Marine Conservation Group for conservation efforts.
This trip is suitable for families (both adults and children). Children should be minimum 8 years old. Children 12 years old and below MUST BE accompanied by adult guardians.
