[Cancelled. Apologies for inconvenience caused] Have you ever wondered how kampung houses were built? Come learn about the last few remaining kampung houses in Pulau Ubin and have a hands-on session to recreate and rethink this uniquely Asian architecture through model-making!

Explore and learn about kampung houses in Pulau Ubin.

Measure and study Teck Seng's Place, a refurbished Chinese kampung house!

Activity led by Dr Lai Chee Kien and facilitated by Albert Liang  of BEEP LAB.

Suggested for kids aged 8 years and above. Child must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Limited to maximum 15 kids per session.

Time: 9am-12noon
Duration: 3 hours
Venue: Teck Seng's Place. No. 363B (map) overlooking Sensory Trail ponds. 8 min walk from Ubin Jetty.
Cost: $20 per pair of child and adult (mother/father/etc)

The cost includes the workshop program, material, van transport. Lead trainer, and facilitators for the tour. The session will also include measuring and studying of Teck Seng's Place.
