27 May (Mon): FREE Hari Raya Crafts Workshop with Wan's Ubin Journal

Registration NOW OPEN! Usher in Hari Raya with our Ubin residents by joining us in our first-ever Hari Raya Crafts Workshop where you get to learn how to weave decorative ribbon ketupats and even make your own DIY Hari Raya Cards!

What's more: All the ketupats that you have woven will then be hung at the Public Jetty and along the Main Village for all the Ubin residents and visitors to see and enjoy as we welcome the festive season of Hari Raya onto the island for the first time in recent history!

2 Jun (Sun): Ubin 3Rivers with Kayakasia [FULL]

Registration NOW CLOSED! Pulau Ubin is crisscrossed by many waterways. Suitable for beginners, this kayaking trip explores 3 waterways of this intricate river systems, linking them in a closed loop within the island.

At some sections, the river narrowed and the trees closed, creating a natural canopy of arching branches and leaves. Numerous species of birds are easily spotted among this mazy waterways. Bigger reptiles like monitor lizards and snakes go about their ways...

Attention: Calling all photography maniacs! Chek Jawa Sunrise and Intertidal Macro Photography is back!

Located at the northeast coast of Pulau Ubin, Chek Jawa is no doubt one of the best intertidal sites in Singapore for nature appreciation and biodiversity conservation. With its special location and interesting foreground/background, Sunrise at Chek Jawa will also be an unusual experience for most nature photographers in Singapore. To support the ongoing Pesta Ubin 2019 event, Nature Photographic Society (Singapore) is organizing a nature photographic outing to Chek Jawa on 8 June 2019.
